Find out what Google's new AI Bard can and can't do.

To simply find out what  Bard's AI can do you always prompt the question "What can Bard do?" in Bard and you will get all the details you need to find out but if you read the full post you can find out firsthand instead of not knowing what to ask in the Bard.

When I ask the question what can Bard do in Bard AI it gives the Answer here:

It says it can generate text so just like Chatgpt you can ask questions in Bard and it will give you an answer to your questions or write code and many other tasks too, like translating languages, writing different kinds of creative content, and answering your questions in an informative way.

As Bard is under development and still in an experimental state you will still find some problems or wrong answers here and there and Google will also add more tasks as Bard's AI gets more better.

But where do Bard's answers come from don't you wonder 😶

It seems Bard uses lots of techniques like Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning to make these answers. Now let's find out how these ML and NLP help Bard to generate answers.

Natural language processing (NLP):

NLP is a field of computer science that deals with the interaction between computers and human language. As you already know computers doesn't understand natural human languages and they can only understand what we are prompting in 1's and 0s that is the binary numbers. So, NLP is something that converts human text into this binary code and then converts it to text to be read by us. Bard uses NLP to understand the meaning of your questions and prompts and to generate responses that are relevant and informative.

Machine learning (ML):

ML is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that allows computers to learn without being explicitly programmed. What this means is that Bard Ai is constantly learning from the web and many other sources that are available without being generated by a programmer and using it to improve its ability to generate accurate and informative responses over time. Even including our own prompts in Bard, just imagine thousands of questions to be answered daily by Chatgpt and Bard.

Knowledge retrieval:

Bard has access to a vast database of information, including text, code, and images. It uses this database to retrieve information that is relevant to your questions and prompts.
Once Bard has understood your question or prompt, it generates a response by using its knowledge of the language, the world, and the information it has retrieved. And it seems Bard can write more languages compared to Chatgpt which is a huge benefit because only about 17 to 18% of the world's population speaks English. It also uses its ML capabilities to improve the quality of its responses over time.

Here is a more detailed explanation of the process:

Bard first uses NLP to understand the meaning of your question or prompt. This includes identifying the key concepts and relationships in your query.
Bard then uses its knowledge of the world and the information it has retrieved to generate a response. It may consider multiple possible responses and select the one that it believes is most likely to be accurate and informative.
Bard then uses NLP to generate the response in a way that is clear, concise, and grammatically correct. It also tries to make its responses engaging and interesting to read.
Bard is still under development, but it has learned to generate high-quality answers to a wide range of questions and prompts. I am excited to continue learning and improving my ability to help people with their creative and informative needs.

Here are some specific examples of what BArd's AI can do:

1. Bard can help you brainstorm ideas for a new project or essay.

2. It can write a poem or story for you.

3. It can translate a document from one language to another.

4. It can write a code snippet to perform a specific task.

5. It can answer your questions about a wide range of topics, from science and history to current events and pop culture.

6. It am still under development, but I am learning new things every day. I am excited to help people with their creative and informative needs.
